The R100XE is The Ultimate G/S. Consider this a continuation model of the R80G/S.

Packing a 1000cc Twin Spark Engine, Tubeless Akront Rims front and rear, USD forks and dual Brembo Radial Calipers it’s a real kick in the pants with the stopping-power to match. LED lighting is controlled by a Motogadget M-Unit Blue, bringing modern technology to old school engineering. The M-Unit is a solid state fuse box with bluetooth controls and a proximity sensor that works as both an alarm and keyless-go.

Bodywork is finished in Rhino Gray.

The front end was lifted from a 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200XE. The Showa forks were rebuilt to the same length as that of the factory R80G/S front end. Bolted to that is a tubeless 21” Akront wheel clad in Continental TKC80 rubber. Stopping power comes from a pair of Brembo Radial Calipers and floating rotors.

The billet aluminum triple tree was machined to our specification by Cognito Moto . With its black anodized finish, it provides a uniform look to the new front end and accommodates the original R80G/S Headlight Cover and high front fender. The top triple was drilled for standard airhead risers which hold the Renthal High bars with their signature cross brace. Barkbuster hand guards provide extra protection along with discrete LED turn signals.

The headlight cover houses a new LED headlight, a set of telltale lights from Kat Dash and a custom combination GPS speedometer and integral tachometer.

A custom rear fender was created by grafting together an Acerbis mudguard with a the front portion of an R80G/S fender. This has created a sleek look, providing full coverage and to the untrained eye it looks entirely stock.

Wheels have been rebuilt, anodized black and laced with stainless steel spokes. 21” in the front and 17” in the rear.

An R80G/S subframe was modified to suit the R100R frame. The end result is shorter than the original and a custom seat was fabricated in the style of an R80G/S bench seat, again shorter than the original providing that clean tucked look but still enough space to seat seat two comfortably. A canvas saddle bag from Unit Garage is mounted to the custom subframe utilizing the German Klickfix system.

Rear suspension is taken care of witch an Ohlins 46DRS with external reservoir.
